Monday A-MEWS-Ments

The words 'Auld Lang Syne' literally translates from old Scottish dialect meaning 'Old Long Ago' and is about love and friendship in times past. The lyrics in the song Auld Lang Syne referring to 'We'll take a Cup of Kindness yet' relate to a drink shared by men and women to symbolize friendship. I thought it appropriate at year's end to extend the 'cup of kindness' thought to our little fur friends in shelters who would love to start the New Year in a warm loving home. All of these listings today donate all or almost all of the proceeds to animal rescue. If you are considering a pet this year, PLEASE make your local shelter your first stop! These animals are more than willing to give love and friendship to you throughout the year.

Happy New Year!

We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

Please take a few minutes to visit these wonderful shops and perhaps purchase something to help them in their efforts to provide love and care for sheltered animals.

WOOFSTOCK 2010

Although it was a complete blowout for me, it was lots of fun!

My booth....

The cutest little redhead who stood there and pet Tammy for a long time!

Giant wolfhound!!

Maya, lying down, was my nice neighbor, and Wilson came to visit. Both Newfies. And boy! Do they drool!

Cutest little whippets!

And this is Grace! I loved her! Such a fun little girl.

My three-legged friend. She was so perky and enthusiastic, I'm quite sure she had no idea she was handicapped!

Cody, background, and Andrew hugging my dog-in-law, Haylee.

Getting toward the end.

Yipee! Snack time!

Cleaning up with the Gentleman and his Lady, Toby and Haylee.

A great turnout for Rescue Village! I hope to be able to help them in other ways through donating items for sale or raffle at their shelter or events. Awesome pawsome people!
