IT'S FURBABY FRIDAY CHARITY WEEK!

We love our pets! That's why Furbaby Friday exists. Many stories have been shared here that testify to the deep love people have for their furry family members. And we all know they ARE family! We laugh when they first come into our homes and we cry when they leave. I wish all animals meant to be pets could have that experience. But we all know that's not the case. Many of us share our lives with rescues. They are the lucky ones who escaped lives of outdoor wandering, abuse, abandonment, euthanasia, experimentation, hoarding, etc.
Today you have the opportunity to help those who help these furry friends. I have featured six items from Etsy shops that are donating 100% of the proceeds of the item to shelters. FARP, the Fabulous Animal Rescue Project, exists solely for the purpose of raising funds for animal rescue. Others donate a portion of sales to help animals. PLEASE visit these shops and consider a purchase. Some items are very inexpensive, but no amount is too small for donation.

Thank you to all of these wonderful caring people who continue to provide for the needy animals even in these difficult economic times. God bless each of you!

  3. What a lovely idea to do this Patty! Every day I look at my 2 furbabies & feel lucky that they have escaped their fates after their racing days were over. I only wish I could make it that way for every greyhound, & all the other animals too of course. You're right though, no amount is too small ;-)
