Finally!

Welcome to Art and Sew Forth!....Finally a home for my four online art and sewing shops. It is here where I can bring them all together as one and share thoughts, process, and progress as well as stay in touch with friends who appreciate my work.

Who I Am...

I am a Christian artist who loves to use the gifts God has given me to bring joy into others' lives by providing quality handmade items. I am most fulfilled during the process of creating and when my work finds a home where it is loved and appreciated. I want all I do to reflect the excellence and beauty of God's nature.

I am also the mother of seven amazing children. A million words would never be sufficient to describe the depth of love I have for them and the miracle of change that they have wrought in me. I am a very different person today than I was in my B.C. days. (before children!) Love for others has a way of motivating us to become more than we could ever imagine. Thank you Heather, Gabe, Amos, Caleb, Judah, Cody, and Andrew. You have been and continue to be my inspiration to pursue God and godliness in my life.

What I Do...

Currently, I am a gymnastics coach and judge. It is my hope that I will soon be able to support myself entirely through sales from my shops so I can be home full time with my last two sons.

I have always enjoyed sewing and art and have now created several opportunities for myself to do both. I can float between sewing and art with my shops which keeps me from getting bored!

~ www.catcalls.etsy.com has all cat-themed clothing and accessories for women. Every item has a cat of some sort on it, whether hand painted, printed fabric, or just buttons. A free kitty cat stuffie is sent with every purchase.

~ www.gear4guys.etsy.com is full of flannel items for guys. I have six sons and hope to provide more guy things for those searching for unique, handmade gifts. Boxers of all themes have been the favorite so far, and you'll find a variety in that shop.

~ www.beyond5.etsy.com is my art outlet. I create wall art for this shop. Native American designs are of special interest to me. I enjoy researching the culture and symbols and try to incorporate that with my Christian beliefs. Not always easy or possible, but I have found many wonderful themes that I have been able to develop into beautiful wall hangings.

~ www.greatspiritdesigns.1000markets.com is my latest addition. This shop is dedicated entirely to Native American art designs. I have started with only wall art but will be adding other art or sewing as well.
