Two Sweet Torties Need a Home!

Chriss, over at The Feral Cat Rescue Project in Oregon, has these two adorable kitties that need loving homes. She is such a sweet heart, that she is willing to drive quite a distance to give them a good home. PLEASE PLEASE take a look and PASS THIS ALONG through twitter, facebook, blogs.....

She can be reached through comments on her blog, @Pagani on twitter, or contacted HERE

The following is taken from her blog.

All made-up, colorful and pretty ..and no place to go! Aww. Georgia, the four month old Tortie kitten seems like she's looking for love. She and her sister, Non-Georgia, are a pair of friendly, smart, and charming tortie kittens that were rescued.

Georgia (above) and her sister, Non-Georgia, are the cutest things to me! I love them and I think torties in general are adorable. But for some reason they can be hard to adopt out. Which is sad.  Personally, I think they are wonderful; they have that special tortie-attitude that is unique to this coloration. I want to have them for my own but I'm already maxed-out on cats. And they deserve some love.

Georgia and Non-Georgia aren't really box trained but you can work with them; they are very smart. They need a loving, safe home. I'd work with whomever adopted them for shots and spaying as they get old enough. I just want them to be well-cared for.

I hope someone will save them! Our rescued tortie from last year was not adopted and became a victim of coyote predation before the summer was over. I still haven't recovered from that one and I don't need more things to cry over.

THANK YOU FOR SPREADING THE WORD!!

TOOEY TELLS
...a guinea pig's view of life.

My mom is so pathetic. She has watched these two videos so much this week, I now have to cover my ears. She actually still laughs until she cries. What a sad life.....

TOOEY TELLS
...a guinea pig's view of life.

Here I am! I am a very talented cavy (that is my latin name). As you may know, I was given another 'sister' to watch over on March 15th. SO...I have been teaching the little weelet a few tricks. Here is Violet.

What do you think? Not bad for a babe of 3 1/2 months. She still has to master the back feet balancing act. But she'll get it. I am a good teacher.

TOOEY TELLS
...a guinea pig's view of life.

So my mom decided to take Petfinder's Adopt the Internet Day seriously and came home on Tuesday with this little squirt...

Meet Violet Rose

Mom let me check her out....

I guess she can stay. That's a 3 to 1 ratio, Mom.  Please don't put me in charge of all of these females at once!

TOOEY TELLS
...a guinea pig's view of life.

I had to babysit my grandkids,Tuck and Roll,  this week.

I admit that I was a bit jealous since they are so cute.
Mom talked to them a lot and and the boy wants Roll if I die....humph!

The boy even gave Roll the coveted sweatshirt pocket.

I guess I'll just go hide in my bag......

TOOEY TELLS
...a guinea pig's view of life.

Though I am very nervous around dogs, I still think every dog deserves a fair shot at a good home. So please take a look at my mom's changed up poem about Black Dogs.

RUFF RHYMES

This week is dedicated to the Black Dogs in shelters in hopes of bringing a bit of awareness to their plight.

Did You Know:  " We are guessing that the general public is not aware of how doomed black dogs are when they are brought to a pound because black dogs, particularly black labs or lab mixes, are euthanized at a horrifying rate at many pounds & shelters because people pass them up for lighter colored dogs."

Arf arf black dog
Have you not a home?

No sir, no sir
Black's bad luck, I'm told.

Please look into my eyes,

And listen to my heart,

Black dog love's forever.....until death do us part.
