I will go again and see with the eyes of a daughter whose dad served in the USMC this time. Oh how I wish he were still here on days like today, though he was always very quiet when it came to such memories. He didn't serve for college funds, because he was a loser, because he wanted to be cool - he did so because it was the right thing to do and he loved freedom. God bless him.Art and Sew Forthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03735218931840655109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952249399865544316.post-88846062041914808682012-05-28T09:49:53.924-04:002012-05-28T09:49:53.924-04:00what a fabulous post in honor of those who served!...what a fabulous post in honor of those who served! thank you for including my card in this!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11188977707548025222noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4952249399865544316.post-80045278444150787412012-05-28T09:18:52.987-04:002012-05-28T09:18:52.987-04:00Thanks for a touching post. If you have never been to a National Cemetery,,,I would encourage you to visit one sometime,,,and not just on Memorial Day. I promise you that, after looking out upon the thousands of simple white headstones lined up so neatly, you will come away with a deeper perspective of the sacrifice that many have made for all of us.The Joke Puppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12477288362898530222noreply@blogger.com
